The Bayfield Ukulele Society (the BUS) meets for practice and jamming in the basement of the St. Andrew’s United Church (6 The Square, Bayfield, ON N0M 1G0)
Wednesday sessions include 30 minutes (from 6:30-7:00 p.m.) of skill development such as technique and music reading, followed at 7:15 by singing, strumming and jamming. Most music comes from our own BUS book and the London SOUP book. These are available for purchase during practice times.
The first and third Saturday of each month, from 10:00-11:30 our focus is on learning to read music and playing together as an ‘orchestra’.
There are no fees involved for participating but we do appreciate any small contributions to offset the expense of our practice space and other performance expenses.
